EFGS task force for establishing a Global Forum for Geography and Statistics.
We, the participants in the task force for the Global Forum for Geography and Statistics (GFGS), agree to join forces to establish a global network on geography and statistics.
We agree upon that both national statistical institutes (NSIs), national mapping agencies (NMAs) and Research and Development Institutions (RDIs) should be invited to a professional, common and global network.
Cooperation is formalised as Memorandum of Understanding and Letter of Intent from Ciesin and JRC respectively.
