Description

This proof-of-concept level service implements the concept of a Table Joining Service and has been developed within the GEOSTAT4 project.

The proof-of-concept service uses an updated draft standard of the Table Joining Service. The name of the draft standard has since been changed to OGC API – Joins in order to reflect the wider development of OpenAPI-based OGC specifications (e.g. OGC API – Features and OGC API – Records).

The proof-of-concept service enables the integration of geospatial and statistical data. As the Table Joining Service implementation (OGC API – Joins) is only a background service, we decided to call the whole service with a user interface a “Data Joining Service”.

The proof-of-concept service is open for testing by anyone. Please be aware that this is a proof-of-concept. It will not work with big datasets.
