This use case briefly outlines how geocoding of workplaces (local units in the Business Register) is conducted in Statistics Sweden. As opposed to geocoding of population data in Sweden, which is a very straight forward process, geocoding of workplaces is more complex due to the lack of standardisation of address information submitted by the reporting units (companies) to the Business Register.
