“Towards standardised geospatial statistics” presented by members of EFGS SC on NTTS 2023

In this year’s edition of the NTTS Conference (NTTS 2023) that took place in Brussels, Rina Tammisto (Statistics Finland) and Jerker Moström (Statistics Sweden), two members of the EFGS Steering Committee, presented the main outcomes of the Geostat 4 project in the first session on geospatial statistics coordinated by Eurostat (9 March 2023). The presentation designated “Towards standardised geospatial statistics” introduced the concept of geospatial statistics, summarised the evolution of the GSGF Europe, explained how the outcomes of the project can support standardisation and identified current and future challenges.
