11th edition of Geospatial World Forum will be held in Amsterdam, 2 – 4 April 2019. The Forum is a collaborative and interactive platform, which demonstrates collective and shared vision of the global geospatial community. It is an annual gathering of geospatial professionals and leaders representing the entire geospatial ecosystem. This comprises of public policies, national mapping agencies, private sector enterprises, multilateral and development organizations, scientific and academic institutions, and above all end users from government, businesses, and citizen services. With Geospatial Media and Communications as the primary driver, Geospatial World Forum is conceived, designed and managed by a partner network of about 50 organizations globally.
During the event the European Forum for Geography and Statistics will be represented by the President Janusz Dygaszewicz PhD, the Director of ICT Systems, Geostatistics and Census Department in Statistics Poland. The President of EFGS will be the speaker during Geo4SDGs session. He will present the issue of Geospatial statistical data integration for decision making and monitoring SDGs.
