Geospatial Media and Communications with the support of United Nations Group of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM) and Radiant Earth Foundation is organizing the second edition of Geo4SDGs on 3 – 4 April 2019 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands – a conference that will discuss use of geospatial data and technology for measuring, monitoring, reporting and realizing the 2030 Agenda, with the aim to bridge the gap between geospatial – development sector – multilaterals – policy makers – implementers. Geo4SDGs 2019 shall discuss pressing sustainable development issues including climate change, food security, and urbanization; and how geospatial community can contribute.

Speakers from United Nations, GODAN, World Resources Institute, Cadasta Foundation, Foundation for Ecological Security, Resilience Brokers, The Nature Conservancy, SDG Watch Europe, Global Institute for Water, Environment and Health, Humanitarian OpenStreetMap, European Space Agency, JAXA and several ministries and geospatial private sector will address the forum. Geo4SDGs is part of 11th edition of Geospatial World Forum (2 – 4 April 2019). The conference is a collaborative platform of geospatial community stakeholders representing policy makers, administrators, national geospatial agencies, geospatial private sector enterprises, multilateral and development organizations, scientific and academic institutions, and above all users of geospatial technologies from government, businesses, and citizen services. The conference will bring together 1000+ professionals, 300+ organizations, 80+ countries and 250+ global speakers.
