Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world and has been attributed adjectives such as "golden", "hundred-spired", "the crown of the world".
The historical heart of Prague is a monumental picture of its more than one thousand years history. Since 1992, an area of 866 hectares with the most valuable historic, cultural and architectural monuments has been listed in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage.
