Permission is given to use the EFGS information, such as maps, graphs, data and findings under the condition that the following requirements are fully met:

In case EFGS results are used, such as findings, maps and graphs, a disclaimer must be placed in the beginning of the report, visible and readable, saying:
"Texts and graphics stemming from research projects under the EFGS Network presented in this report do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the EFGS members or member organisations".
EFGS maps reproduced must follow the EFGS map design and include the EFGS disclaimer and the EFGS logo as well as the outermost regions
To exclude using the EFGS map design for new maps produced by projects outside the EFGS framework a printed copy of the final report, article or project using EFGS material must be sent to the EFGS Steering Committee.

The EFGS Network takes every effort to ensure that the information published on this web site is accurate. However, the EFGS Network cannot accept any liability for the accuracy or content. If errors are brought to our attention, we will try to correct them.
The EFGS Network makes every effort to check the information available on the website. It is always wise for users to run an anti virus program on all material downloaded from the Internet. The EFGS Network cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system which may occur whilst using material of the EFGS web site.

The mention of specific research institutes, universities, public institutions and private organisations does not imply that they are endorsed or recommended by the EFGS Network in preference to others of a similar nature that are not mentioned.

The EFGS website does not capture or store personal information from site visitors, other than the IP address of the station from which the web site has been accessed and the pages visited from that station, including the date and time of the visit. We do not use cookies for collecting user information from the site. Other websites linked from this site are not covered by this privacy policy.
